We worked closely with the logistics company ZEROCO to create a long-lasting visual identity, messaging, and strategy to position the company as the world’s sustainability leader. Thirty years from now, the world population will reach 10 billion, with food shortages, food waste, and environment degradation presenting major challenges. ZEROCO created a transportation storage unit that maintains a temperature of 0° C (32° F) and 100% humidity, which keeps produce fresher for much longer than traditional container and distribution processes. We helped ZEROCO become the world’s leading innovative solution for the food distribution and farming industries by delivering the world’s most delicious food products from Japan to the rest of the world.
Concept
Based on the concept of “Beyond ZERO,” we designed ZEROCO’s identity to represent the value of zero, emphasizing their sustainable and innovative approach to the future for food in our world. ZEROCO’s technology encompasses the food distribution industry from start to finish, including production, processing, manufacturing, logistics, retail and food service. Embracing the Japanese traditional refrigeration process, we developed ZEROCO’s design and messaging to transform the entire food supply chain.
Logo
The logo was designed to evoke fresh quality and delicious food. Presented as a breathing oval shape, the logo gently surrounds the food and redefines the concept of fresh produce.
Application
Using blue and white, we developed a consistent application of ZEROCO’s global branding.
Website
ZEROCO’s website was designed to showcase the company’s sustainable vision and future plans addressing global social issues. Through the use of motion graphics, illustrations, and pictograms, we explain the science and technology behind ZEROCO’s storage units.
