BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA is a Tokyo bay-area redevelopment project led by Nomura Real Estate. A new destination has emerged — one that fosters a fresh culture by connecting people with community and nature in the city.
The intention behind the visual identity is to capture the experience of being surrounded by nature while in the heart of the city. We designed the visual system (including the logo, promotional assets, films, website, signage, and advertising) with the aim of highlighting the waterfront. This urban development of Tokyo goes beyond the ocean to reach endless possibilities for the future.
水辺から、東京の未来をひらく
BLUE FRONT SHIBAURAは、東京のウォーターフロントに潜む新たな可能性をひらく、野村不動産が推進する東京ベイエリアの大規模複合開発プロジェクトです。都心にありながら空と海を臨み、「圧倒的な自然」を体験できる芝浦は、都市と自然、そして人と人をつなぐ新たな価値を備えた場所です。空や海、風や光を象徴する青いラインをアイデンティティに、始まりを予感させる映像やオリジナルフォントと組み合わせ、一貫したデザインを展開しました。これまでの東京の概念を超え、水辺から東京の未来をひらく。その試みにデザインで応えています。

The blue line represents the sky, sea, wind, and people, while also representing a town that “opens” the door to the future. Using this blue line as a core visual identity element, it was applied across the logo, website, signage, flags, and other touchpoints.
